Set in 18 acres of landscaped grounds this very versatile facility is able to host all manner of receptions and events from weddings to large corporate fun days. We offer a complete service including catering from restaurant standard kitchens, right down to providing minibus transfers from Ealing Broadway Tube station.

No event is too large or too small. Our team have over 20 years of experience in event organisation and take great pride in tailor-making everything to your complete satisfaction.

History of the Club

The Club grounds were owned in the late 1800's by the Great Western Railway and used as a rest area and hospital for working horses and mules. The adjacent Castle Bar station was built to bring the animals to some 100 acres of meadows. In 1900 The GWR Sports and Social Club made its home here and thrived for many years. In 1997 the Mike Gooley Trailfinders Charity bought the freehold of what had become a dilapidated and unattractive 18 acre sports club. The Charity funded an extensive renovation programme. A brand new second pavilion was built in 2000. In August 2005 the Old Pavilion was destroyed by fire, from the ashes the stunning new Olympic Pavilion has risen to continue the long tradition of hosting all manner of hospitality for over a century at Castle Bar.
